Professional Services Team Carry Out Quinquennial Valuation

Dalcour Maclaren’s Professional Services team were tasked with carrying out the 2016 Quinquennial Valuation for the Environment Agency’s (South East Regional Hub) Operational Land.

The Environment Agency is required by Government to commission a revaluation of its operational assets every 5 years to prepare its balance sheets for accountancy purposes. We have been pleased to take part in the Environment Agency valuation of their operational land assets for their 2016 valuation.


To carry out a Red Book valuation for accountancy purposes of operational land comprising some 1,500 parcels across 28 operational uses. This included a diverse real estate ranging from river lock islands and lock keepers’ houses, to boatyards and fisherman’s huts, to drainage ditches and flood bunds, and much more besides. Sites were located in all counties of the southern region, including London.
