High Pressure Gas Pipeline


14 km new high pressure gas pipeline through London Borough of Hillingdon

  • Route feasibility included assessing 3 different alternative routes and measuring the risk for each
  • Negotiating the route with all landowners and occupiers and making recommendations to the project team
  • Assessing potential land associated costs along the route and advising the client on how best to minimise claims
  • Negotiating claims and consents and instigating CPO process
  • Negotiating site compounds and additional working areas and completing legal documentation
  • Managing solicitors and completion of Deeds of Easements
  • Preparing drawings for referencing, schedules of works, and easements

  • Greenbelt Issues with Land values and development
  • Urban area and huge Public Interest


Golf Course- early consultation with the owners and careful planning of routes and working areas to try and minimise disruption to holes.

Up front negotiations with regards to land values and lift and shift provisions together with flexible engineering solutions to avoid development disruption.

Public Interest – Strategy for managing stakeholders and organising public exhibitions and group meeting prior and during the project.
