Agricultural Liaison Officer (ALO) – Oxfordshire

Dalcour Maclaren are looking for an Agricultural Liaison Officer to join the team at their busy head office at Weston on the Green in Oxfordshire.

Summary of role:

This role presents an exciting opportunity for the successful applicant to be involved with the HS2 project between London and Leamington Spa.

Key responsibilities will involve day to day liaison with landowners / farmers and occupiers affected by the project’s enabling works. You need to be confident, have strong communication skills, attention to detail and agricultural knowledge. Previous experience on Utility or Infrastructure projects would be an advantage. You must also have your own car.

What your role would involve:

  • Working with a team to support the HS2 project’s enabling works
  • Establishing and maintaining close and effective relationships with clients, contractors and landowners
  • Notifying affected parties of planned works
  • Being the first point of contact for affected parties and contractors on issues arising from works
  • Reporting on reinstatement requirements and assessing agricultural claims
  • Providing client updates through the use of web based interactive mapping software
  • Attendance of meetings on site and at client offices
  • Producing photographic records of condition of land prior to entry
