What to expect

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team at Dalcour Maclaren and to work with our various clients supporting the HS2 project. You’ll be assisting the land owner engagement team on this high-profile infrastructure project. There is also the opportunity to provide wider support to the office environment and assisting other client teams in their fast-paced day to day work.

You’ll provide administrative support to this growing team which will include liaising with internal and external stakeholders in arranging access for surveys and possession of land. You’ll work closely with our HS2 Land Access Team and Agricultural Liaison Offers in maintaining document control systems, diary management, managing Excel spreadsheets, coordinating projects, formatting reports, and undertaking general office management tasks.

As Administrator, you’ll also support the team in administrative tasks including data inputting, timesheets, expenses, filing and invoicing.

What you will need

You’ll be an organised Administrator with excellent verbal and written communication skills. You’ll have excellent IT skills, including MS Word and Excel, and be able to organise yourself and others. It would be beneficial if you have previously worked with document control systems such as SharePoint. An ability to format documents to a high standard and with great attention to detail is essential. You’ll also be motivated by new challenges with a dynamic, collaborative approach to working in a growing office.

You may have an interest in agriculture, rural affairs or utilities, however this is not essential.
